SUPPORT KALMIOPSIS AUDUBON
Kalmiopsis Audubon Society is a non-profit conservation and education organization. All our work is done by volunteers, and our projects are supported entirely by donations and dues from our local members.Dues and donations enable us to continue monitoring and responding to threats to wildlife habitat in Curry County, to publish the award winning Storm Petrel--the best source of local environmental news--and to provide other educational materials and programs in our communities.
But there is always more that could be done!
If you share our goals of protecting habitat for birds, fish, and wildlife in Curry County and offering public education about conservation issues, please join our membership and consider volunteering or making a special gift to the Kalmiopsis Audubon Society.
Join Us
The Kalmiopsis Audubon Society’s greatest asset is our membership. With over 200 local members, we have the highest per capita participation of any Audubon chapter in Oregon.
Every time we make public testimony, we tell elected officials, planning commission members, or agency personnel about our membership --and the more members we have, the stronger our voice.
Please help us reach our goal of 250 members by joining KAS and encouraging your friends to join, too.
Members receive the award winning Storm Petrel newsletter, are invited to meetings and programs, and know they are supporting our group’s good work.

Volunteer
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of our group. Please consider joining the team of active volunteers. See Volunteer Opportunities for more information.

Planned and Estate giving
Making a bequest or planned gift is a wonderful way to make an enduring contribution to the Kalmiopsis Audubon Society. Your gift can help provide for continuing stewardship of our extraordinary forests, rivers, and coasts into the future, while taking advantage of federal and state tax laws.
